FaceTime Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

FaceTime is a proprietary videotelephony product developed by Apple Inc. FaceTime is available on supported iOS mobile devices and Mac computers that run Mac OS X 10.6.6 and later. FaceTime supports any iOS device with a forward-facing camera and any Mac computer equipped with a FaceTime Camera. FaceTime Audio, an audio-only version, is available on any iOS device that supports iOS 7 or newer, and any Mac with a forward-facing camera running Mac OS X 10.9.2 and later. FaceTime is included for free in iOS and in macOS from Mac OS X Lion (10.7) onwards.

According to the website The Verge, there is a bug on Facetime where you can call somebody and listen to their phone’s microphone regardless of whether the person you’re calling picks up. Thisismetcalf, a user from the Apple Forum said "FaceTime is horrible quality and lags connection, on all my devices, whenever I'm on my home WiFi"

FaceTime sucks because the major negative is you can communicate only with Apple users. Skype is more versatile and functional across different platforms and offers more advanced features.

Customer Service sales Rep (Former Employee) says

"It's telemarketing so if so good. But it was inbound and outbound calling. Its a hard stressful job that involves a lot of talking. Basically if you didn't met your quota then you were fired."

Sales Specialist (Former Employee) says

"Good pay, with the opportunity to earn more through commissions."

Customer Acquisition Specialist (Former Employee) says

"Great money maker!!! If you dont have a conscious and dont mind getting treated poorly. FaceTime Strategy (formerly Harp Marketing) is a great place to work for tough, skilled individuals. If you are a "nice" person, you will never make it. Fast-paced, dog-eat-dog style telesales. Cons: treated horribly by management."

Harp Marketing (Former Employee) says

"You make good money, but management there is not all that great. Sometimes paychecks get messed up, and things are always changing up... nobody really knows what's going on from one day to the next."

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) says

"i love working there.. its a fun place to be its very competitive"

Production says

"I worked at Facetime Strategy Cons: Late paychecks, never paid on time. Losing clients. Lack of communication. Company laid off staff and went into bankruptcy. Had to take a loan out. Never paid vendors on time."

Former Employee - Account Manager says

"I worked at Facetime Strategy full-time for more than a year Cons: they don't think tactical all the time"

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I have been working at Facetime Strategy full-time Cons: High employee turnover rate. Could be a more creative environment. Work is less dynamic and more monotonous than it could be (the DC branch is digital marketing) Weak culture."
